Trotternish is an area where there are many fine walks. For the adventurous, you can walk the famous Trotternish Ridge, or visit some of it's particularly famous landmarks such as the Old Man of Storr, the Hill of the Red Fox and the Quiraing. There are also coastal walks, including an excellent walk to the old coastguard station at Rubha Huinish overlooking spectacular cliffs from where one can view much wildlfe and birdlife.
